Why do I navigate to the human side of things?
It evolved from a life-long curiosity about people. It began in earnest with a career for a company that always put people first. This was a unique values-based organization that invested in developing talent before it was in vogue. I was encouraged to take risks, make mistakes and learn. Those learning moments created anxiety, yet always brought personal growth. Having a sense of humor helped! I applied what I learned and have always strived to live purposefully.
Relationships are at the core of who I am and how I became known in this community. When I launched our company over 20 years ago, there were personal values that ended up as guide posts for all of us. It was about doing what you say you will do, and truly getting to know what matters to our clients, partners and team.
I am fascinated with how we adapt, learn and act in a world of work that is challenging every notion we have about what we're meant to do and how we're to succeed.
Today, you may find me facilitating learning groups, offering provocative prompts to accelerate new conversation, or inspire ideas that move us from insight to action. You may also find me ballroom dancing with my honey or stretching my brain to play and sing in ukulele class. Of course, you will always find an endearing photo of me with Nona, my labradoodle pal and office mate.

I started and ran a successful executive search business, working in the International Career Consulting Services industry, while also founding the HRoundtable, a dynamic community of forward-looking HR executives committed to advancing the future of work. Now I am eager to facilitate learning for early career professionals.
